About Us
Friday Ad was started in West Cork in 1985 by Kim and Anne Boland. Possibly the first free classified ads publication in West Cork, it first produced 3000 copies which were distributed door-to-door around Clonakilty, Ballineen, Enniskeane, Bandon and Dunmanway.
In the beginning, everything in Friday Ad was laid up with Lettraset, a typewriter, glue and some drawing pens. Family and friends were enlisted to help out.
The area covered has grown over the last 25 years to include Kinsale, Macroom, Innishannon, Bantry, Skibbereen, Goleen and all areas in between. We are now printing 15,000 copies.
Everything we have produced has depended on the support and good will of the businesses and the people of West Cork, so we have always been interested in helping local business and keeping jobs in West Cork.

For business advertisers we provide Display Advertising and a Trades and Services Directory, both in printed form and on the web.
We also provide web pages and business profiles on Fridayad.com as well as links to advertisers web sites.
